UK Weather Forecast: Temperatures recently dropped in the UK after an intense heatwave. But according to the Met Office, another heatwave is approaching the UK, accompanied by ‘above average’ temperatures. England and Wales have already faced two heatwaves this summer.

UK Weather Forecast: Met Office’s Latest Forecast 

The Met Office has warned that another heatwave could soon affect the UK.  The newly released data has suggested that currently there is ‘an increased chance of heatwaves and heat-related impacts’. And July will likely mark this summer’s warmest month in the UK with regards to temperatures and include ‘significant bursts’ of heat.

UK Weather Forecast: Rising Temperatures

According to the latest forecast by the Met Office, there will be ‘above average’ temperatures in the UK this July. Temperatures this week will remain higher than average. In some parts of the UK, the temperatures could peak between 40°Celsius to 41°Celsius. 

When Will the Heatwave Arrive? 

The upcoming heatwave will most likely arrive in the UK from 3rd July, 2026 and temperatures are expected to peak between 10th July, 2026 and 11th July, 2026.

UK Heatwave: Forecast Alert 

As per the latest forecast alert, temperatures will steadily rise, pushing into the high 20s°C in England and Wales with the onset of a third heatwave ‘increasingly likely’ in July.
