US intelligence agencies estimate that Iran has achieved the ability to close the Strait of Hormuz at its will, giving Tehran a powerful tool of pressure on the world economy.

According to channel spokesperson, despite preparing an agreement to open the Strait, which is scheduled to be signed on June 19, Iran has demonstrated during the recent conflict its ability to block access to this key maritime artery. US intelligence agencies estimate that Tehran will be able to use this mechanism again in the future.
